How to Keep Your Home Office Clean and Tidy

 


Working from home can be a challenge for many. One of the most important steps in creating a productive workspace is keeping it clean and organized. Here are some tips on how to effectively clean your workstation at home. 

Getting Started 

Before beginning the cleaning process, make sure you have all the necessary supplies on hand. Gather up a vacuum cleaner, paper towels, disinfectant wipes, glass cleaner, dusting cloths, and garbage bags. This will ensure that you have everything you need when it’s time to start cleaning. Additionally, make sure any cords are untangled and out of the way so that they won’t get in your way while cleaning.

Regardless of which method you choose, having an organized filing system will help make sure that important documents don’t get lost or forgotten about in the clutter.

To help keep cords under control, consider purchasing cord covers or cable clips which will help reduce visual clutter as well as keep cords safe from wear and tear due to frequent movement or foot traffic around the workstation area.
